About
The final segment of the MENA Academic Exchange program will be an event held at the Sofitel Dubai Jumeirah Beach in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, titled "Empowering Business Schools with Digital Transformation."
This topic was chosen by the participants to reflect an area of both opportunities and challenges in the region. Taking place from September 5-6, 2023, this event marks a significant milestone in the group’s journey toward creating a vibrant network of business schools in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. We are proud to collaborate with esteemed partners from the United States in this endeavor.
During the Dubai event, participants will explore the transformative power of digital technologies in business schools. The focus will be on driving innovation and digitalization in business education, with specific topics and initiatives including:
Transformation of Courses: Seeking assistance in both technical and pedagogical aspects to convert select courses from traditional face-to-face formats to online delivery, ensuring a seamless transition.

Integration of Gamification and Interactive Learning: Offering software and tools that enable business simulations and gamified learning experiences, fostering student engagement and active participation.

Professional Development for Faculty: Conducting training programs designed to equip faculty members with the necessary skills and tools to confidently digitize their courses. The aim is to empower educators to navigate the digital transformation process effectively.

Transformation of Courses into MOOCs: Converting selected courses into Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) format, making them accessible to a broader audience beyond traditional classrooms. Seeking support to design and develop high-quality MOOCs that offer interactive learning experiences, engaging content, and opportunities for self-paced learning.

Integration of AI and GPT Models: Exploring the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and GPT models into the digital education ecosystem, unlocking new possibilities for innovation and personalized learning experiences.

Making digitalization and technological innovation in academia an indicator for accreditation.
Participants in the network will have the opportunity to be part of the digital transformation in business education. They will gain access to a wide range of benefits, including webinars, mentorship services, joint research papers, newsletters, small collaborative competitions, exchanges, conferences, and events. Additionally, participants will create a virtual platform to enhance interaction and collaboration among members. This platform will feature research and activities, showcase an inclusive and active membership ecosystem, and provide an area for membership applications.
